I am passionate about capturing amazing moments that portray the excitement, commitment, and the effort of the amazing athletes (and animals!) that participate. The Calgary Stampede is proclaimed as the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth and the best athletes in the World come to compete at our prestigious rodeo. Every year I enjoy watching the amazing rodeo athletes and do my best to capture peak action as they strive to do their best. Being a very proud Canadian, it is with immense joy when you can capture peak action of one of your own athletes at the Calgary Stampede - the biggest stage in the world.

This special image received a score of Excellence at the regional competition of the Professional Photographers of Canada, and was a finalist in the Regional Salon. I am also honoured to have been selected to be part of the Best of Alberta Exhibit that will be displayed during the Exposure Festival in Calgary, during the month of February, 2026. Come and visit the Calgary Public Library from February 5th - 17th to see the “Best of Alberta”, an amazing exhibit celebrating community, professionalism and creative excellence!
